Digital Owner's Manuals

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone is interested in this, but I thought it was pretty neat. I found a site that contains the owner's manual, in a searchable digital format, for pretty much any Toyota made in the past 15 years.

You can take a look at it here, and it might help you find something you've been looking for about your car, without having to search through the 600 pages of your paper owner's manual. It also might be helpful for those of us with older vehicles whose original manual got lost to the sands of time.

Thanks for the link. Not sure how "searchable" it is (CTRL-F doesn't seem to work for me in FireFox or Chrome in it), but at least one can change the page number at the bottom to navigate around the document. Nice find.

Also toyota.com/owners, register with your VIN and you also get MX records for anything done at the dealer. I also use to upload and keep track of my own maintenance.

I used to be able to see the owner's manual on Toyota.com, but no more. It now says, "Sorry, no documents found for your 2008 4Runner." All it shows is warranty information. This is under the Resources pull-down tab/Manuals and Warranty. One is instead directed to the "Ask an Owner" page.

Yes, can still enter maintenance items as stated, and that's nice, but this can only be viewed by the original owner and the dealer. I would be willing to pass along my user id and password to the new owner when the day ever comes that I sell "Sweetheart."
