Dirtco's 2001 "Mild" Build Thread

It's been a while since I updated this...

I installed 265/75R16 Goodyear Duratrac's about a month ago. No good pictures, but here is one I snapped right after I installed them. So far the wife really likes them and thinks they do great in the snow.

I LOVE this colour! I was trolling your other build thread looking for the rear disc brake upgrade(didnt get to it!) and I got side tracked by this thread! I'd love to acquire a 4R like this for my Wife, as we live in the central mountain region of BC, Canada, where snow is plentiful this time of year! Her Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback is great for the dog but its Winter performance is a bit lacking... Maybe when my youngest leaves College....

PS. I'm subscribed(to both builds)!

That looks smexy man! What is with you and finding sweet 4Runners in rare color combinations?? Love it! :)

Thanks! I honestly don't know... I didn't even take color into consideration, I was just looking at the vehicle itself (year, options, miles, owner history, etc) and these are the two that stood out.

My wife loves it! (and so do I) With the revamped suspension, and the small lift, it rides like a new vehicle. Everything is proportionate, and in my opinion, it's the way Toyota should have released the vehicle to begin with.

It's been a great vehicle, in the last year I've replaced the stock stereo with an Alpine headunit and I've changed the oil, that's it! I won a discounted AddictedOffroad front plate bumper at last years Colorado Toyota Jamboree, I'm just waiting for them to get caught up. We have a ton of deer and elk on our commute and it will be nice to have a "real" bumper on her 4Runner.
