Disable Bluetooth microphone in 2017 TRD pro?

I’ve seen some threads on this but they were inconclusive. I drive long-distances and will often use Bluetooth to dictate emails and text messages while I’m driving.

The onboard Bluetooth microphone in my truck is atrocious, and to make matters worse it overrides everything else. Even if I have another Bluetooth microphone the onboard system will override it.

So my only option is to turn Bluetooth completely off and use the speakerphone on my iPhone which is a terrible option.

Even if you were to disable to OEM microphone the radio would still try to listen to it.

Unplugging the mic from the radio will do it but if it’s like my other Toy radios. Doing that completely turns off Bluetooth on the radio.
