Disable Dash Light for Rear Air Suspension

I have seen this topic come in in prior threads but was struggling to find a definitive answer.

I am looking at ridding myself of my stock suspension including the rear air and xreas to accomplish a lift etc.

Nuking / swapping the components seems pretty straight forward, but I am left with a single question regarding this topic.

What is the best method of disabling the resulting flashing dummy light on the dash?

I have seen where some people have recommended the removal of the light from the dash, and I am not beyond doing so, but would love to hear other, perhaps more eloquent solutions if such a thing exist.

These guys claim there are instructions in the kit they sell that will disable that light. i have a feeling it has something to do with grounding out a sensor. I dont know personall but i would give them a call: Rear Air Suspension Conversion & Shocks Kit | Toyota 4Runner 2003-2011

I've heard that Toyota can turn the light off, haven't confirmed that though. I'm interested in this as well, so far haven't found a definitive answer.

If anyone else knows, I am all ears.

Best two fixes I have encountered thus far:
1. Remove the dash light. (Can't blink if it isn't there.)
2. Put tape over the spot on the dash to mute the flashing. (The thought makes me cringe, but would do it as a stop gap until I could accomplish something else.)

Got tired of waiting for the email response so I called them up.

Was told that the kit includes resistors that get installed to solve the problem. I honestly don't know what/how this would be applied.

Any thoughts as to what kind of resistors these may be? Does this make sense?

So I just found this in a random search now that I know I am looking for resistors:

The Resistor provides the resistance needed for a complete circuit for the suspension control module. This resistor replaces the damper in the strut and turns off the air suspension light.

The quote above was taken from a similar application for a different vehicle type. I will keep digging.

sorry to dig up this older thread i can't seam to find more info on this i just finished the conversion and disable the compressor removed the air suspension relay 50amp fuse and 10amp fuse that are marked air suspension and i have the dread flashing OFF light

i was told that there was a harness connection that i could remove in the drivers side kick plate but there are several connections in there.

Does anyone know where or what i need to do to get the OFF light to stop blinking
