Disabling DRL on 2001

I looked, but couldn't find information on how to disable DRL on headlights on 3rd Gen 4Runner. If I missed it somewhere, coul you please provide a link?

I have 2001 Limited and trying to find a way to disable DRL on the headlights. I'd likely will transfer them to auxiliary lights with switch, so they can be switched off while being in the quiet comunitys. In addition I want to upgrade headlights to HIDs, and its better performed when they are not affected by DRL.
What are the options and procedures?

First, do NOT get those cheap hid plug n play kits. They're dangerous and illegal. Light output sucks and blinds the oncoming traffic.

Does anyone have a photo of the location of this wire? I must be brain dead because I cant find this wire under the dash to save my life and the original writeup isn't displaying photos anymore...

Sorry I couldn't get this pic up the other day but I figured I'd share anyways since my DRL module under the dash looks a bit different. It could be that mine is an 02, either way here it is, under the dash in front of the drivers seat, to the right:

ok yeah mines an '02 so lext4r's looked a bit different- we have that small harness right behind the big Aisin module that also has black/yellow and yellow/black wires, so I ended up cutting the wrong wire the first time. Thankfully got a good splice in there. who knows what I cut, could have been no bueno.
