disabling honk on door lock/unlock

The other day my kid was playing in my '03 SR5 while I was cleaning it and now in addition to the chirp, the alarm also honks when I lock/unlock the doors. The ignition was off the entire time we were in there so I'm not sure what happened. How can I disable the honking? The chirps I'm ok with, though. I searched and found some instructions to depress the red LED on the dash but I think I have an aftermarket alarm where the LED is not a button. I do have a valet toggle switch down by the parking brake, though. It's pretty annoying early in the morning. Thanks.

You need to find out what kind of alarm you have then look up the instructions. It's usually a combination of pressing buttons on the remote or valet switch though. You don't know he combination unless you can figure out what kind of alarm you have. There should be a control module behind the dash under the steering wheel.
