Disabling ignition and fuel pump

In order to conduct a compression test on my '06 V8 4Runner I need to disable the ignition and fuel pump. How is that best accomplished in this vehicle? TIA!

should be a relay, or EFI fuse to disable fuel. Just unplug and remove the coils. You have to take the plugs out anyway.

Thanks for the reply!

After posting, I remembered I had the shop manual in PDF format and in case anyone else has the same question, this is what the manual says:

10. INSPECT COMPRESSION
(a) Remove the V−bank cover sub−assy.
(b) Remove the air cleaner hose assy.
(c) Disconnect the throttle control motor connector.
(d) Remove the 8 ignition coils.
(e) Remove the 8 spark plugs.
(f) Disconnect the 8 injector connectors.

Removal of the EFI fuses, there are several, would probably accomplish the same thing.
