Im in the process of swapping in a new to me used tranny. The new one had its kickdown cable cut when it was removed from the truck. I cant seem to separate the kickdown cable from the bracket inside the valve body. I tried prying to get the pin out but I ended up breaking a small piece off the bracket and decided to stop before I do any more damage. Does anyone know how to remove the kickdown from the valve body? thanks
