Hi, I am about to look into buying new wheels and tires for my 4Runner. I found some nice ones from this website and was wondering if anyone has used them to buy anything. I'm just wondering if they are creditable and if they items they sell are good quality.

I have ordered from them a couple of times & never had any problems. I've actually had more trouble finding someone to put them on. Many tire shops where I live will not install tires that were not purchased online.

Bought my wheels and tires from DTD and had no issues. They had the cheapest price I could find, they mount and balance for free (unless you specify otherwise this is how they will ship) and shipping was also free and pretty quick, got my (5x) wheels and tires in less than a week. I will definitely use them again!

I bought from them like 7 or 8 years ago. No issues. I had access to my own mounting and balancing equipment, so I did everything myself, so I'm not sure what kind of luck you would have getting tires mounted locally.

I have bought tires from discount tire direct for the past ten years, and I have nothing bad to say about the company. I even got my KM2's from them and they arrived pretty quick. With the free shipping and cheap prices, you can't beat it. I have searched around for every tire purchase I made, and DTD was always the least expensive. I'm sticking with them in the future for sure

I was about to order new wheels last September. Instead I went to the local Discount Tire and they ordered the wheels for me.

Much cheaper when you don't have to pay the shipping costs...:)

I've never heard anything bad about Discount Tire--from all signs, they are a top-notch outfit that offers many choices for both tires and wheels. I bought from their stores before, back when I lived near them, and had no issues.

hey, i'm not really knowledgeable of wheels and tires and stuff... i want some good solid tires (good for the money, but not super pricey) to fit the rims above. 17". any suggestions?

If you have a local Discount tire store I would think they will match the price from DiscountTire Direct.

I paid $662 for my Goodyear Silent Armors and $503 for my wheels just by negotiating with Discount. It amounted to getting the wheels almost free.

I've been going to the same Discount Tire for 20 years and the best most consistent customer service of any business I've dealt with. I price shopped the Diract site when I got new wheels/tires for my wife's Focus and got the on-line price (including on-line discount) and it was $1213 shipped to my door with brand new TPMS and road hazard warranties but at the actual store the out the door price with REBUILT sensors and the warranties was over $1500 but I brought in the printed page from the site,he looked it over and said "ok,that's the price then, will have them next week" and Voila!!!

Depending on where you live, you might be able to avoid paying taxes if you order from DTD online than going in the store. That saved me probably over a
$100.

I've always had good customer service from them, but it depends on what store too. I brought in a price quote from discount tire direct and their in store was way higher. Guy said "well it's a warehouse so there's no over head blah blah blah". I then asked if he had them in stock or needed to order from a "warehouse". Needless to say he matched the price.

Last time I was there they had an insane deal on duratracs. Was quoted $1075 otd for 315/75/16's
