Discount Tire

I had a some what good experience today. I went camping with my camper this weekend. It had a flat tire and I took the tire to a new place in Acworth. The manager came out and took my little 12" tire out of the 4Runner and checked it out. He came back with the tire all wet and in a bag. He said it was the valve stem, no charge.

He put the tire in the car and gave me a $25 coupon and said they sell all sorts of tires even my Cross Terrians like I have on the 4Runner. I said I bought them at Costco, because of cost. He said bring it in for tire rotation forever, matter of fact bring in all your cars and we will rotate and balance your tires. We want your business. I just saw me waiting hours at Costco vanish. I said are your sure, then quickly said thanks.

The dealer is really close by, so the question is has anyone dealt with Discount Tires? do they sell good tires and do they have good service? I may give them some of my business.

I've bought all my tires at Discount for the last 13 years and never a problem. I just got my Nittos there last week and even if it's an easy job I like having sombody else rotate my tires for me (every 4000 miles) and the lifetime balancing is nice and I also got their warranty certificates so if I hurt a tire off road that's unrepairable they replace it no questions asked.

Check out there website which allows you to pick your area and specific store for an exact price quote and they sell most of the major brands. www.discounttire.com

I used to buy tires from them when I lived in Michigan. I believe they sell most major brands and can get anything you want with in a week. They also sell more tires than Sears and other retailers due to the fact that all they due is tires. Seemed like a good company. They will fix any flat for free (if Fixable) if you drop it off or if they are not that busy they will do it while you wait. They never gave me any problems with changing tire size either. I saw them test fit tires on various trucks to look for any conflict with the rubbing ect.... They were always willing to work with me and did not try to sell me something I did not ask for. I would recomend them.

I even brought in a set of tires they sold to my father-in-law for a grain trailer to exchange onto the blazer I had. No miles on them. The tires had been bought more than 2 years earlier. When one of the tire looked out of round on the rim and would not ride smooth they warrantied the tire on the spot without a question. Can beat that.
