I decided to give sound dampening a try so I bought some peel and seal like material because I don't feel like paying $200 for Second Skin.
I ended up using (2) 4"x33' rolls and (1) 8"x33' roll to cover the rear body panels and wheel wells with two layers and one layer on the cargo deck and some spots under the passenger seats.
I buttoned everything back up and I will say it has cut down on a lot of the road noise and my Flowmaster 50 series isn't as loud inside. The exhaust was never annoying or super droney on long trips... at least I never thought so.
I think I'll do the rest of the truck whenever I get some free time.

I've been pretty busy over the last 5 months so I really haven't had time to update mi mods.
-I finally got the stock 12v/110v plugs moved to the side of the panel. It was a PITA that I've been shelving for a number of years... but hey progress takes time right?
-After I had done the sound dampening I decided that it was finally time to use some truck bed lining on the cargo area paneling.
On the left you see the panel that has been sanded/roughed up, on the right you see the panel that has Dupli-Color truck bed liner sprayed on. Not a very hard project just time consuming. I haven't really been around to see if it was worth it or not... guess we'll find out come the Cove trip (@antman)
-Finally, I added some new patches to the headliner.
Here are some of the older patches I have up there.

Can't wait for the camping trip! Hopefully it holds up- it's tough to keep paint on plastic sometimes...
Why did you move the outlet?

I moved the outlet because I was really hellbent on making and installing a subwoofer in that spot... kind of like the JL Audio Stealthbox, but they don't make one for our trucks.
If I have the time I'd still like to attempt to make the sub boxes out of fiberglass and make a mold so I can possibly make and sell them :eyebrows:

CB antenna mount
I decided I wanted to install a CB but wasn't sure how to mount it. I had seen a group buy for a liftgate mount that apparently had logistical issues, but none the less I thought it was a great idea and decided to fab my own mount.
I will say that this project was a PITA! The results were good though.
No more drive-thrus for this guy as long as I have the antenna up.
I haven't installed the CB (so I'm basically a poser right now) but I have pre-wired the antenna...
I case you were wondering how it looks open...

ARB CKMTA12 install
I excited about this one! I was away on business for the last two month and had purchased the ARB CKMTA12 dual air compressor.
I fabricated the mount using the side wall holes (M6 bolts) and the threaded studs on top of the wheel well (M8 1.25 flanged nut).
I will say that mounting the compressor to the mount is a PITA because you have to insert and tighten the bolts in the blind and have to be a contortionist.
Sorry I didn't take any pics of the mount itself but I did take some inspiration from others.
Here is the connector that triggers the compressor. The center wire is your 12v wire, you can connect the switch you may already have. (Thanks for the help @Okki). I ended up buying a connector so I didn't have to butcher the provided ARB wiring harness.
It's all pretty straight forward from there. Connect the provided harness to your positive and negative terminals and you should be ready to rock.
A couple of things to keep in mind is that this compressors initial output is hot so your hose might melt if you use it for extended periods... I had two hoses burst on me...

I'm pretty sure I've redone my fuse block and relay setup a few too many times, I just never had the time to do it correctly or actual fabricate a mount.
I'm making a horizontal mount that will attach to the engine bay driver side wall and wheel well. I also removed the wires leading to 87A pin of the relay reducing the number of wires I have to deal with and I have no need for them... unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Welp I finally had some free time to finish welding up the bracket. Threw some paint on and wired everything up.
Don't mind the wires in the background I need to finish up connecting everything together.
In hindsight I could use some shrink tubing on the wiring...

OME LIFT GENERAL GRABBER AT2s
Well it's been a productive weekend, my friend and I went to the auto hobby shop on base and installed OME 60080 90010 shocks and 2884 2889 springs... being newbies to suspension installs it took us only 4-4.5 hours.

I also found a gentleman that was selling five General Grabber AT2s in 33x12.50r17 Load C... his father only put about 1000 miles on them and decided to get bigger tires and sell these. $800 for $1300 worth of tires... not a bad deal if I do say so myself. I had them mounted and I can confirm they do rub, looks like I have some more stuff to do.

I still need an alignment but yes it'll probably need a bmc. This is my second set of Grabber AT2; first set was in 265/70-17.

Decided it was time to get the top banner of the windshield re-tinted... I had this before but I've also gone through 3 windshields.

Cobra 75 WX ST installed
I bought the Cobra 75 WX ST recently, I felt that it was the simplest to install and was the best space saving solution.
Since I bought it used I used the mic mount from another radio I bought on the cheap.
I ended up mounting the junction box next to the skinny pedal routing the wires in a way that would not interfere with it.
