Diversity Antenna

Folks,

I know this has been discussed ad-nauseum in previous posts. I've read most all of them, but to date I have not found a firm answer.

4runner has 2 antenna plugs and I believe a power plug for the diversity antenna (correct me if I'm wrong).

Does one use a Y-adapter when using an aftermarket unit, or do we just tape up the diversity antenna? If Y-Adapter, does anyone know which to use? How about the power plug?

diversity antenna

just use the larger antenna plug and tape up the smaller one. i don't know of any aftermarket stereos that can handle the diversity antennas. i don't think you'll notice much of a loss in signal. i didn't anyway.
