Where did you get those windshield mounts for the LEDs those are sick
I met 89s Rule today to pick up some 7.5 wraps to try to achieve the rake that I miss. I hope to get those and some new brake pads on/in this week. i really want to do the Tundra brake upgrade, but that will have to wait for a bit. Pictures to follow as things get done.
I was thinking about doing the Tundra upgrade too but how much of a difference will it really make over my stock brakes? I mean my truck brakes OK but Idk!
I have heard good things about the upgrade. And since I have the Tundra 17s I am going to go ahead and do it when time and $ are right. Not a must do thing at the moment though. Mine brakes fairly well too.
How has the 2wd held up for you when you go wheelin? Id be a bit skeptical about it. Your rig looks great btw! One thing you keep calling your wheels tundra wheels .. Ive always known them as sequoia's. Did they come oem on both?
As weird and simple as it seems, try greasing your U-joint a bit. Mine had a howling sound as well, only when coasting. I thought it was tranny, wheel bearings, etc. As crazy as it is, I just greased the U-joint, and viola! Just a thought.

I got the 4runner back... they told me that due to the lift my driveshaft is at such an angle that when I coast it hums. I am no mechanic but they assured me that there are not any safety issues. I just might have to deal with a new U-joint in the future (Along the lines of what Zachpins34 suggested). So it is back and I don't have to deal with tranny rebuilds or anything like that. Now on to a picture... I installed some LED DRLs on the front bumper. They will eventually work as blinkers too...
One of the DRLs runs yellow sort of so the guy is sending me a new one to fix this. Hopefully the LC coils will follow in the next week or two.
