You were pretty close to the answer...They told me the lift I have put the driveshaft out of stock geometry and hums while coasting. New u-joint can be in the future but not yet necessary. Thanks again for your comment.

No problem man. Truck is awesome, lights look great btw!

dude your rig is coming along nicely! The dedication is there I see it!! makes me miss mine....

Thanks Tim! I wish your's was still around too. It sucks exploring by myself. Once I figure out how to get videos up here I will put those 3 up from when we all went a few years ago. If you are around Athens, hit me up man.

I finally figured out how to get videos on here. The first one is a run of mine. It was in a "legal" area being that I asked permission of the company that owns the power lines and the landowners of the actual land. And the second is a 2wd 4Runner pulling out a stuck 2wd 4Runner. The 2wds were getting it done that day!

So not a whole lot to update but a few things are in the works. First off I gave my Hella 500s to my buddy with the FJ60. I figured they would look good with his round headlights. Plus he is trying to maintain a "stock-ish" look.

And I somewhat like the TJM without the lights. But thanks to CenCalifoothill15 a LED light bar will be there soon enough. I also picked up some stickers from farmerjon. They are awesome stickers and he is a really cool dude.

And finally, My dad and I are headed to Alaska tomorrow for 2 weeks. The 4Runner is going to sit and wait on the goodies that are on their ways. Also while we are there we will be taking a 4x4 Excursion through Denali so stay tuned for pictures. I really hope they have a Toyota too!

Thanks for the mention, Dizzy! Looks good! Have thought about that stacked version on my laptop haha, but I think I'm starting to see this sticker in enough places in my life haha. Keep it up, looking forward to the AK pics! Have a great trip! :)

Just got back from Alaska. No updates for the 4Runner yet but here are some pictures from the trip. I took a ride down the Denali Highway which was voted #2 Best Ride in the World. Unfortunately we did the ride in a Jeep. I was looking for a Toyota to do it in but had no luck. Anyway here are some pictures...

No big updates. I finally installed and wired up my 20" LED light bar. There are not too many mods planned for the future. I am hoping to do an awning set up for some UGA tailgating. Other than that I am just doing normal maintenance and enjoying driving/using it.

Maybe I will put in my 7.5 wraps one day too.

Still just enjoying using it... This past weekend a few buddies and I helped my dad rebuild his deck.

This is what we started with...

And this is what it looks like now...

And of course, the 4Runner being used.

Hopefully this weekend I can get in my 7.5 wraps.

An update to post #58...

So I had gotten some white drls for the front of my TJM. When I got them hooked up one illuminated better than the other. I ended up getting two more from the guy (free) and just now got around to installing them.

I am hoping to rewire my light bar and get those LC springs installed soon.

A little fun on my lunch break

I work for the UGA Forestry school and was out at our experimental forest messing around in the greenhouses this morning. I decided to take a ride through the forest on my lunch break and see what I could find. There were tons of wildlife, especially deer being GA, and some of our bug traps (I am a research technician in the forest entomology lab). While out I only took two pictures of the 4runner.

Being that I work for the UGA Forestry School I have access to an experimental forest. There are tons of fs roads, old logging roads and study areas. I have also found a few nice lakes to spend my lunch breaks. Here is a touched up one from my lunch spot yesterday... Hopefully with the help of 706t4r I should be getting my 7.5 wraps and some new rear shocks in soon.

Great thread man! I have seen you around town, I work at a research facility off of south milledge. I saw your truck the other day while going to lunch over on the east side. I am about to order a lift and tires. Also a arb bumper. Just wrecked mine ..,..hit a deer and some trees and maybe a fence. I will get some pics up soon

Thanks for the kind words. That sucks you got a deer and a few other things. You are not at the Seed Development place are you? Either way, glad to hear you have some things in the works. If you need any help with installing anything let me know. I will gladly lend a hand. Can't wait to see it come together!

Just got a P0133 trouble code from my ultragauge today. I did a bit of research and looks like my upstream o2 sensor is going bad. Anyone able to confirm this? Also, i do not have a ton of time today or tomorrow to replace it so are there any side effects of driving it? I have no CEL or anything just the trouble code from the ultragauge. And the specs of my 4Runner are: v6, 2wd with about 195K mi and the sensors have not ever been replaced (I know bc I am the only owner of this 4Runner). I have seen that it is a DIY job and i plan to take care of it. Just need to wait until Wednesday. Thanks for any help...

Just took it to the body shop and they are going to take it in tomorrow. I do not work at the seed development place. Very close though. I am in a rush to find a bumper , ome lift kit and some wheels and tires. If you have any suggestions , I know you had or have an ome lift. What did you think of it? I am looking at ARB bumpers but want something a little cheaper.
