Thanks! That video was shot entirely with active tracking. I just got it set up, and then drove and let the drone do the work. I was really amazed at how well it did going through that narrow, winding canyon.
Here's another one I just finished uploading. This has some active tracking shots, a brief manual flight, and some non-drone footage:

Man this is driving me crazy. Feds decide they wont be big brother. The next day DJI decides they will be big brother.
The Mavic Pro is simply the best drone out there but it is a little costly. Add more batteries and empty your pockets.
Now DJI adds the spark. Half the size, Half the cost, not quiet as many specs but the features are almost better. Will have to wait to see what extra batteries cost.
Hopefully the Mavic Pro price will go down once everyone starts buying the spark.

The drone industry of today is like the processor days of the 90s and early 2000s - it updates almost every 6 months at this point. As a consumer, you have to weigh getting one now with waiting for the next big thing..
I'm happy to see the FAA get shot down - they didn't open the floor to public discourse before enacting a law they were not authorized to invoke. DJI is doing the right thing in enforcing self-regulation (which will be a hell of alot less invasive than the FAA's policies). The PCI industry has done the same thing with some successes compared to say, HIPAA.
In any event, I'd be more concerned with getting a refund and having my information expunged from the FAA database if I were one of the unfortunate few who actually registered their drone(s). If it's anything like the 'clear blue' service once provided to travelers, most likely your information will get sold to 3rd parties.

Good to see you're seeing the same sort of hiccups I am with the AT mode. It seems that if you're taking too sharp of a corner, the drone takes a minute to figure out what it should do (stopping in the process).
When you set up AT, what did you have it tracking? The roof or the tail of your T4R? I've found the tail is harder for the drone to keep up with when doing corners compared to something as big as the roof. Since it's a 'look down' feature that requires no less than 31ft altitude before it can be enabled (making targets look smaller), the bigger the object to track, the better.
I've used it to track myself before and it kept losing the subject the more I moved around.

I was having more than the usual "hiccups" that day. It would follow ok, but orbiting and Profile mode were glitchy. That was the first time I'd tried either of those, so I'm not sure whether it's a problem my drone has had all along, or something that was introduced with the last update, or possibly due to the proximity of high voltage towers/lines.
In Profile mode it would start to keep up with the vehicle, then suddenly dive towards it, almost clipping the roof, and lose lock as it passed over. When orbiting, it would only circle the vehicle if I wasn't moving. If I moved very slowly it would start to circle but it either lost lock as it came around the front or would spiral out farther and farther away. And if I was moving at anything faster than a crawl it wouldn't even keep up.
As for what part of the vehicle it locks on to, I'm not sure. I usually just touch the image of my 4R on the screen and a rectangle pops up around it.
I haven't performed the latest update yet (been too busy doing the job hunting thing since I was laid off earlier this month), but I'll work on it this weekend and see if I get a similar experience. Until now, the orbit feature seemed to work well on slow (like 15-20mph) vehicles assuming it has the space to perform the circle.
