I like your swingout setup. I may try to incorporate some of that into my build I was going to use a purchased spindle kit, but no doubt a big-ass bolt would be cheaper. I just need to find a way to incorporate double shear into a swingout that will mount on top of the main bumper rather than in front of it. The gears are turning.

I have an Idea of how you can make it work.It can be easily done if you're using a 2x4 main beam or a 2x6 like mine.


On a seperate topic.I'm probably going to cut off the stock rear cross member that sits above the stock spare tire location and weld some 1.5" .120 wall hrew pipe in a X pattern to reforce the rails.I notice that they flex alot!!
