So I finally got my truck back from DO and ready to get those bicycle wheels and tires off of it. Here is what I have ordered and will be installing in the next couple of weeks. I was planning on doing a TC long travel but after having a couple of months without the truck and contemplating I decided not to do it for the time being. Plus I will save some money so that I can get the matching rear tire carrier done first.

I cant wait to see how it looks man, your off to a great start. I ran TC arms all around on my last truck and I loved all of their products, the A-Arms were great but so were the others, beefy and good looking. What tires are you going with?

Thanks guys! I'm torn between the 285 70 17 bfg km2 and the 295 70 17 nitto terra grapplers. My rims are 17 by 8.5 with 4.75 b.s not sure if the 295 will rub with full flex.

I am running the Nitto's with 4.5 BS and dont rub with full flex but my ICON fronts are turned up and I am running all pro 3.5 rears. I also had to chop body mounts in front. They are big but stuff really nice.

Hope that helps. Also you never really know until you get them on and fine tune everything!

Thanks BFLAN, that helps alot! I really like the aggressive look of the nittos. Did you do the body chop yourself? I saw your post on the all pros and may return the icon rear springs in exchange for the all pros. How does the ride compare to the icon springs?

I did do the chop myself. I had done it on my FJ a couple years ago, so had a good idea of what needed to be done.

I had the toytec rear springs and they were nice, but I think the All Pro rears are better. The ride seems to be a little smoother with the All Pros. I also had All Pros on my old FJ and they were great. Good ride, and they lasted, no real problems with sagging!

Also, all these springs may be made by exactly the same manufacture? I am sure that All Pro, Icon and Toytec do not manufacture the springs they just buy them from someone else, so they may be all bought from the same company, who knows?

Total Chaos

Whats up guys, just picked my truck up from total chaos. Basically got a stage 6 setup but utilized the total chaos extreme link kit for the rear and UCA. Also installed weld on spindle gussets and lower link skids and switched out all my wheel studs with heavier duty arp ones. Here is a snap shot from the shop. I will get more pics as soon as the weather clears up.

Looks good can't wait to see more pictures I think the 295's were a good choice I often look at my 285's wishing I went just alittle bigger

Also installed weld on spindle gussets and lower link skids and switched out all my wheel studs with heavier duty arp ones. Here is a snap shot from the shop. I will get more pics as soon as the weather clears up.

Do the 295s fit without moding frame or fenders?

Thanks guys, the 295s require a body mount chop to keep them from rubbing especially in reverse. I have yet to do the body mount chop but plan to do it this weekend.

Thanks, yeah no problem... Its been raining out here in So-cal for the last 7 days straight and have not gotten a chance to get a clear picture. It should clear up a bit tomorrow so I will make sure and get some more angles for you guys.

I love it !!! I want it !!! But i don't think my wife will let me go this extreme since she likes the way Limited looks on its own... Just out of curiosity, how long did it take for the shop to do it and how much did it coast with installation? If you don't mind me asking....

Thanks, my wife loved the look of our limited stock but she likes it even more now. I am giving a rough estimate since I ordered the shocks and certain components seperately over the last month. Maybe a bit under $5K without the rims and tires, bumper, winch etc.. This is just the suspension components and it rides like butta!!! I also got weld on spindle reinforcement and arp wheel studs since the stock studs were too short for the rims.. It took a day but Total Chaos does not typically do installs for the public.

Wow Dlak ......it's coming along great!!Nice choice on your suspension! I guess Icon will get to see first hand how tight that front pass side remote res bracket is with the new location of the washer bottle. I had to do some improvising/trimming to fit the res on that bracket.Maybe they fixed it since then as I was the the first one made.

The Demello bumper looks so much better with the bigger wheels/tires too!

Pics and some more info on the spindle gussets would be great.Total Chaos or Demello put those on?

Happen to have the part numbers for the ARP studs they put in and did you have to use open lug nuts for them? Because the only ones I saw that would fit were really long. Maybe there are shorter ones that work.
