Do 2nd gen tacomas share the same UCA's?

Looking at a used set of Light racing uca off a 2nd gen taco and I noticed the different part numbers. However total chaos sell arms that fit tacos runners and fj's.. So will the LR uca's fit the 4th gen 4runner?

call a shop and ask them, very few if any people on here have both a 4Runner and Tacoma (and have swapped UCA's between them) to be able to credibly answer your question.
A shop that fabricates or distributes UCA's for Toyotas would be able to answer your question. toyotec, wheelers,downsouth motorsports ....
If you're basing a purchase decision on some random guy on a forum's opinion you'll more likely than not be disappointed. Protect yourself and if nothing else make sure they're returnable.

I know that at least the oem bj has a different od on the BJ between the tacoma and 4runner/fj. A few guys picked up the tacoma arms and tried to stuff a fj/4runner mood bj in there and messed some stuff up. I know it doesn't completely answer your question, but hopefully got some info that would be usefull.

Possibly the reason TC has the same number is because a uniball is used verses a BJ in the LR arms. Best bet would be to call SPC and find out.

im 90% certain FJ/Tacoma/4Runner share the same front platform.

Yeah Im fairly certain the arms fit both 4runners and Tacomas.

yes 2nd gen tacoma uca will work fine as they are exactly the same
stay away from lr pos arms

According to my research and discussing this with spc's tech, the arms and bushings are the same but the ball joints are different. They dont share the same spindle taper.

get a quality product
company should try r+d before they release a product and jeopardize people and property with their trial and error
get a quality arm like tc, dsm, camburg, ect.

I have the 2nd gen Tacoma oem upper control arms on my 2003 4Runner V8 RWD. It fits and has been on my car since 2017.
