Do Daystar sag over time?

I did purchase the 2.5" Daystar kit for the front for my 04 4 Runner SE. I went to Allen's tire to get them installed and the manager there, said that the 2.5 plastic Daystar tend to sag after a couple of years. The metal level kit don't do that, I think he was trying to sell me a lift.
I am just wondering the experiences of people who put Daystar on their truck if they sag,

I don't have an answer but another question. How does it look w/ 2.5" in the front and nothing in the rear? I'm having my 2.5" spacers installed next week. Just doing the front though.

All spacer lift kits cause sag. A 3/2 Cornfed for example, claims 3" front lift and 2" rear lift. After just a few months it's already at about 2.5"-2.75" front and 1.5-1.75" rear lift. This is a metal spacer.

It's not the spacer that sags, it's the springs that lose their stiffness from the added pressure... So he is wrong in 2 aspects.

A good rule of thumb for tire shops is to do all of your research before going in, tell them exactly what you want, and don't listen to anything they say.

My Daystar is sagging up front after about two months. It's all top out so I don't believe it's the spring but rather the polyurethane spacer that has settled. Estimate that it's about a 1/2" settled. Before the truck was dead flat, now it has a little bit of a rake back in it.

What Daystar lift do you have? Is it 1" thick spacer? I am in the process of researching lifts, so I am curios.

It's poly , so it should not be hard plastic.

All Daystar's are poly. I got the 2.5/1.5 lift kit. So now it's something like ~2-2.25/1.25" lift.

I believe the below first 2 day stars are not yet sagging, however, the last day star possibly could be sagging.

I think it's better to say that ALL springs sag over time, whether they are OEM or aftermarket. Whether or not a lift kit is installed is irrelevent beause the springs will eventually sag either way. You might be able to make an argument that a spacer lift may cause the springs to sag faster than they might have otherwise, but that's definitely debatable.

I remeasured my height a few months ago and there was no sag at all. I would say as a few others have noted that it is more likely for the springs to sag than the poly DS spacers.
