I know it sounds stupit , But Im wondering if the first owner put a kit on. The reason Im not sure is because I looked on Daystars site and it shows a 2001 just like mine. It really doesnt look much differant to me than mine. I went and looked and Maybe Im dumb , but I cant tell. (I dont know anything about lift kits ). I have 265/70/16s and there is about 3.5 in. from top of tire to the fender well. Does my 4R look lifted to you ?

No. Its stock. You would be able to look under it and see if there is a lift on it or not.

Why does the subject say "Do I need a lift kit?" though?

looks like a factory sitting 2000ish sport to me. that extra space you have just means its time to upgrade to a bigger tire size :bigok:

Thanks for the replys. I read that 2001s and 2002s sat lower . I would like to add a little lift. I wasnt sure if it had it or not because if you look at mine and the one on Daystars pdf , I dont see much change. I looked at mine to see if I could see spacers , and didnt see anything, but then again..I dont know Sh-- about lift kits. I would love to put on larger tires, but I cant now. The resaon I bought the 4R in the first place was because a stupid girl on a cell phone plowed into my truck at 40 mph and knocked me into a F150. Totaled my truck...and almost ME. Ive put out alot of $$$ so far and her Inc. hasnt paid zip 0 as of yet. The tires on it are Mich 's and almost brand new. Maybe one day I can go bigger.
