Do I need a running in oil?

G'Day,
I'll be picking up my 1990 RN130 4Runner tomorrow complete with new reconditioned replacement 22R engine..(big end bearing went last week).
Would anyone know what grade engine oil I should use for the 'running in' period? ......and how long between 1st oil change please.
Previously I used 20w50 in the old donk.
The mechanic put in 15w40 during last service before bearing @%$# itself.

regular oil is fine according to Toyota 22r service manual
