I know there are a ton of new threads started about lift questions. I have searched for a while now for some answers but cant seem to find anything. I have looked on the lift sticky also.

If someone has a link of where some of these questions are answered I would love a link. So sorry if this has been discussed a lot, but I cant find anything.

To the questions:

I ordered the toytec superflex springs which are rated at 2.5 inch rear lift with about 150lbs of weight in back. I also ordered the bilstein shocks which are 2inch extra travel. I am coming from a 2 inch spacer that is in the rear right now. my questions are:

1. Do i need longer sway bar links? (I have some 2nd gen ones that I read some where should fit but not totally sure if they will fit or if I will need them)
2. Can I get by without getting new UCA's and extending my panhard bar and longer brake line? I talked with toyec and he made it sound like I would be fine with just replacing the springs and shocks and that I would not need anything else. Is this true? I just want to make sure before I start replacing my rear shocks and springs that I have everything I need, I will hopefully be installing everything tomorrow. Also will my vehicle be able to get aligned properly with just replacing the springs and shocks?

3. Last question is: Is there any writeup on step by step instructions on how to lift the rear? I have found some on installing spacers but it wasnt very thorough so I am looking for something that is more of a step by step since I will be doing this myself and never have installed a lift before and want to make sure I do it right.

Again thanks for the replies, and I hope these questions havent been beaten to death, and if they have just let me know... thanks!

You will be fine. Your caster will be slightly out in the front without UCA's, but not too bad. The Bilstien shocks don't give you 2" of extra travel, they allow you to lift the front end without spacers is all.

sounds like he will have no issue at all, looks like just rear springs and shocks...

I have spacers up front, They were there when I bought the vehicle, I am gonna keep the spacers in the front though because I dont have the money to do anything to the front right now.

Good to know though where I wont need anything else but the shocks and springs in the rear and my alignment should be good?

Yep, I swapped out just my rear air bags with springs and swapped stock shocks with Bilsteins and everything is A OK...
