Do i need lt tires?

well i am picking up a mint set of the 6 spoke fj wheels monday 5 rims with center caps n lugs for 180$! im pretty stoked, i have decided to go with 99 tall coils and some nice adjustable shocks.

Anyways I really like the new mickey thompson baja STZ tires, i dont go offroading but i do live in the northeast so were bound to get some snow, i dont tow anything and i Am really just looking for good ride quality and wet/dry traction im thinking of ordering the tires in 265/70R17's but i was asking do i need the lt tires? they are 50$ more a peice

I shouldn't think you need LT tires. I have LT tires (not by choice) and they reduced overall MPG because they weight more, and they provide a stiffer ride IMO on out trucks. I like the firmer feel of the LT tire over the previous 6 ply tires I had, but you may not want that.
