good news: i had a flowmaster installed last week
bad news: ever since, there's been a loud thunk sound from the rear every time i go over a bump at a higher speed (about 35mph+). does this sound mean i probably need new rear shocks or is it more likely the guy who installed the muffler left something loose that keeps thunking every time i hit a bump? or maybe he hosed me and messed with my shocks in hopes that i come back to him for new ones....

make sure your spare tire is up all the way. there should be NO play in it at all. this would cause a bump/bang. shocks don't just give out unless you have done something to cause it.

no new shocks for me. i crawled under this weekend to check it out and discovered the pipe is mounted directly above some part of the shock mount, so when i hit a bump, if the shock compresses enough, this mount hits the pipe. guess ill be taking it back to have him redirect the pipe or do something else to it.
