Do it now or wait for new wheels

I am interested in doing a lift to my 4runner ...Daystar KT09115BK 2.5"/1.5 and i will be getting my new wheels in about 3 months ( cant' wait ) they are going to be 20"s wheels not sure about the tires brand/size yet. Should I wait until I get my new set of wheels and tires to do the lift or it makes no difference if I do it now or later ?...I am planning on buying this kit .....they have it on amazon for $130. Should I get it now and do it or buy it and wait until I get the new set of wheels tires. Any recomendations or feedbacks on the lift kit or the suspension setup???.How far big on the tire can I go with a 20" rim?.... I am doing this just for looks...I really like the looks of 4runners lifted.

Do it now....I did mine about a month ago, I still have the stock wheels and tires on, makes no difference. The only thing is once you do it, you're going to want new wheels and tires ASAP, I'm holding out as long as I can before the winter even though it is tough.

As far as the Daystar, I heard the new style (which uses bolt extensions) is not as good as the old style, even though a lot of people run it, but if it is only for looks, go for it. It's cheap and I agree 100%, it'll look much better lifted, should have come like that from the factory.

I'm not sure about the biggest tire you could go on a 20" rim, but without trimming or rubbing it would be a 32" (whatever the conversion is with 20's) Good Luck!

Probably do it now... This allows you to visualize what looks the best with what you've got so far.

I say dooo it now, one less thing to do when you get the wheels.

Went to the mall yesterday and there was a silver 4runner on icons with stock wheels and tires and it looked pretty damn good to me.

This is kinda how I want my baby to look like with the lift and bigger rims. This are not the rims I want tho'...couldn't find them ....but just to give you an Idea. The middle pic the runner is without the lift.

How much it would be for the labor on the lift...or in other words...how much should I expect to pay for the labor at a car shop or private mechanic?
