Do pre-99 4Runner's have rear power outlets??

My 98 had one but my 97 does not. I wish the storage compartment was larger like yours though

That's not a pic of my storage compartment, I took that from the upgrades thread. Mine has the smaller compartment, but I have the power outlet. I used it today to run my little air compressor.

Damn! I was hoping the P.O. would have maybe had this upgraded!! HA HA HA! Maybe make up for some of the trucks short comings! (no locker, no running boards (I got nerf bars later anyway), no sunroof, no scooped hood, no frills whatsoever!) ha ha ha! I'm not that upset about it, as I've been pretty happy with this rig, and have had alot of fun upgrading and modifying it myself!

Then that is a really good thing getting your truck stock...Slowly build it and you can appreciate it even more because you did all the work yourself and when some approaches you with compliments...you feel good with every ounce of pride.

Really?! I thought the SR5 meant it came with the power everything including the sunroof. Mine is SR5 and it has the power windows, locks, mirrors, power sunroof, a/c, cruise, tilt wheel, cd and cassett, rear heat, ect ect ect but I dont know what all is standard.

Mine came with all the same "doodads", except the sunroof. I was just a little bitter with the P.O. because aside from getting the interior professionally cleaned, took very little care of this truck. When I got it, it had rust around the windshield, inner door jams, and had dents all over the rear bumper and a couple on the doors. You can tell, it was someone that either didn't know how to drive the truck, or just didn't care about it.

I had everything fixed on it, and it looks better because of it! I can honestly say, aside from my recently dented front bumper, the truck looks better than the day I bought it! And the bumper....well I got some plans for that! I'm thinking of throwing a free 98 Tacoma bumper on it, and saving up some cash for a custom plated bumper!!!
