Up most of the time. That's what climate control is for.

The bigger reason is cause I'm lazy about cleaning my interior. Driving with it down gets my dash dusty faster. Also I don't like the amount of noise with the windows down, it drowns out my music.

Although I like driving with the windows down, I have them up 99% of the time. I am going to hang on to that toxic new car smell as long as I can. I also like to keep my interior as clean as possible and save a little on mileage on the highway. I have allergies and if all that outside stuff gets into my fabric then I am done for. I have to admit though, my 4runner's monstrous sunroof makes it really hard and tempting not to keep it closed.

Mine are up most of the time, the interior gets too dusty.

If i'm cruising in the city with some cool weather i roll my windows down a little, but if its too darn hot outside windows up and A/C on!

When I dressed up for church or work, I usually the leave windows up with the a/c on.

But if its the weekend and I'm going to the beach, then I'll put all the windows down.

I really like putting the rear window down. I think its freaks out some folks when I'm driving down the interstate and they see the rear glass sliding down.

99.9% up. i am very anal about the dust and i always want my interior clean, spotless. also i want to see how long i can retain the new car smell.

should smell new for a good 2+ years...at least mine did.

when the weather is in the 70s and i'm driving around town, all windows are down/ open (sunroof). any major highway driving where the wind noise will annoy me and i won't be able to hear the stereo, everything is up/ closed w/ the AC on.

Down only when the weather permits. Usually we only have a month's worth of nice crusing weather in the spring, and maybe a month in the fall. Otherwise, you'll melt or freeze.

There's nothing more magical than a perfect 68-72* evening, beautiful sunset, and cruising down the interstate with the windows down, the sunroof open, and some Metallica or Disturbed blasting through the speakers. I've had a few drives like that which I still remember to this day, just like every care in the world is gone..... ;):

Up on the highway at highway speeds or when it's too muggy outside.
All down (except rear passenger door windows) on city streets.

Here in Las Vegas you would be an idiot for driving with the windows down. If the heat, cold, ever-blowing wind, or dust doesn't get you the cigarette smoke or the diesel exhaust will. Not to mention all the traffic noise or road debris floating around as well! I remember the days of driving in Washington or on the California coast when there was nothing but calm, cool, sweet smelling air flowing through the cabin...

Dont embellish, you make it sound so perfect and too good to be true there in Vegas. :p

The windows stay up. After getting hit in the head with road debris, bugs flying in for a visit, noise from big trucks, and birds dropping bombs, I had enough of the abuse.

The interior noise level of the 4Runner sounds like a fine symphony orchestra with windows up. I rather listen to that than a Jake-Brake from dump trucks who have a bad habit of sandblasting your rig. Interstate highway travel makes rolling down highway with windows open uncomfortable for me. Driving is bad enough, why make it hard on yourself? :D

LOL...No, don't get me wrong- it's great if you are a drug dealer, gambling addict, or generally don't care about your environment!

Rolling with windows up and down

Here is what happens when you decide to roll with the windows up and down and up and down, five times.

This is also why we have on order a 2007 4Runner.
