Do you think Toyota will ever fill up the button blanks before this generation is ove

I’ll give them a pass for the two center console ones because on some models with heat only, there’s dials in those spots.

But we still have some to the left of the steering wheel, one farther down close to the hood release latch, and one more on the right side below the stop/start button.

Are these filled with any options in rest-of-world markets?

Toyota knows people like to install lights, lockers, air compressors and all kinds of other BS. Been like that for years and it would be a problem if there weren't any blank switches.

In my 4th gen, I have added a switch for my accessory fog lights left of the steering wheel and added two USB ports in the center console. If I want to add anything else, I will have to cut something. I’m happy the blanks were there!

The existence of companies like Switch Pro suggests a dearth of switch blanks rather than an excess.

Right of the steering wheel is the front/rear camera switch.
