I have a 21 ORP coming soon and am searching for a lift. I want to run 285 70s on the factory ORP wheels. It will be on road more than off but I want to make the right choice on a lift. I’ve been through pages of lift info on the forum here and it’s a tough choice. If anyone with real world experience with either lift can steer me in the right direction that would be great. And I’m aware that the wait time for getting the lift could be up too a couple months due to demand right now. Thanks in advance.

For only a 2.5" lift (front I assume) all you need are spacers which are inexpensive. I went with the Rough Country front and rear leveling kit. They advertised 2" front and 1" rear, but it ended up a bit more on the front. Just be sure to do a wheel alignment when you do any lift.
BEWARE: If you have the dealer install any lift, they are required by the factory to defeat the adaptive cruise control since the sensors will no longer be aimed properly.

I have a Dobinson's lift, and I am beyond happy with it. I went 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I went with the basic setup for not adding weight to the front or rear (I won't add a steel bumper front or back).
The ride is SO MUCH IMPROVED it's nuts. From the stock suspension to this you have more control and less body roll as well as the off-road functionality. It pretty much make the truck fun to drive with the added control and responsiveness. I have nothing but good things to say about Dobinson's.
Edit: I can't comment on rubbing with the tire size you want to go, i'm running a -12 offset with stock tire size so I rub. When i go up to 275 i'll have to cut.

This sounds like what I’m looking for exactly. Which springs did you go with? Did it end up level or do you have some rake yet?

Front springs: C59-314
Front shocks: GS59-700
Rear coils: C59-505
Rear shocks: GS59-705
2.5" front and 1.5" rear gives you roughly an inch rake which I wanted. I ran it for about 6 months level, but i'm really happy I kept a slight rake with this lift.

I have the eibach pro lift kit set right now. 40,000 miles on them mostly city and probably 500-800 miles off road. It was self installed, took a full weekend (great learning experience). Honestly, i wish i wouldve went bigger. I probably will add new set before 2021 ends, looking for 3" to add bigger tires on my oem alloy wheels.
