After a long time drooling over this forum and gathering money/parts my 2005 limited 4x4 is getting built properly. its a week of transformation before i go on a road trip back home to WV to let the wife finally meet the family (I've been on deployment). last week i replaced the cv axles on both sides and put completely new rear brakes on(calipers were froze and rusted badly).
monday consisted of a small tune up: complete seafoam treatment, oil change with mobil 1, drain and fill of the diffs and transfer case with mobil 1, cleaned throttle body and intake, cleaned MAF, new air filter, new cabin air filter, and topped off al fluids.
tuesday was lift day: removed leaking XREAS and replaced with Toytec/Bilsien 3" lift up front with the 1/4 top spacer for 3.75" lift. rear was toytec 2" lift springs with 1.5" cornfed spacers and Bilstien shocks for 3.5" lift, custom diff drop made by david at cornfed( right down the road and fellow navy man).
wednesday was interior day: Pioneer avid z120bt head unit, jl audio c5 component up front, c5 coaxial in rear doors, stealthbox and 5 channel amp to run it all. viper 2way alarm with gps tracking, and license plate rear view camera.
thursday is tire and alignment day, i have to install my spidertrax and then mount my fj wheels that are wrapped in 285/70r17 Terra Grapplers, alignment is at 3 so after it is all done ill try to figure out how to post pics ( i know, post is useless without pics), I'm still a noob on here.
