I have a 2004 Dodge Neon as my work commuter vehicle. It has about 120K miles on it. The suspension seems to be making some noise as I drive over railroad tracks or those stupid speed bumps. I don't know if its the shocks or bushings maybe? Last night I pulled into a gas station and as I was pulling out, I could hear a noise whenever I turned the steering wheel to the left and back to center....however once back on the road and even in my driveway I am unable to duplicate the noise. It sounds kinda like something hitting...like a "clunk".
I checked underneath the car today, and behind the wheels, but was unable to notice anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
