Does all Bosch stuff suck

My sister needed a battery for her 99 Camry so we went to PepBoys and bought a Bosch battery. Well in 3 years they had to replace the battery 3 times and recharge it once. She goes to Florida for a week in December and the car sits with out being started and ever year it died. The third battery got recharged and died a month later at her job.The car wouldn't started so i said the hell with this and went to Walmart and bought one of their batteries and haven't had one bit of trouble with it in 3 years. Matter of fact i have a Walmart battery on the 4Runner and it hasn't failed once unlike one we bought at Costco which didn't last too many years.

yes! back in the 80s and early 90s they were hard to beat and some of the best stuff out there, but in the last 15-20years they have gone down hill... i used to work on german cars exclusively(both at an independent shop and a major BMW dealer in portland or) and neither place would use bosh unless the costumer explicitly stated thats all they would want(and we would warren them about that idea). 9 times outta 10 they would be back within 6months to have it swapped out again for our recommended parts. bosch is now ridding on a name like a certain german car manufacture...
