i have stock front and rear diff gears for a 92 4runner sr5 v6 5speed...im looking for gears good for 33in mud terrain km2's...any body looking for stock gears that has gears for 33's and are looking for an even trade?

haha doubt it try a scrap yard maybe and offer to trade with alittle money on top of it. but you have to do your homework reading the vin plates who knows u might get lucky and find a 4runner with stock 4.88's "in which case you would need the whole rear axle" good luck

i have 4.88's....i was looking for likeee 5.29's. are 4.88's good for 33's?

Yes sir they might lag a little if it is an auto but if it is manual you should be good. I'm currently running 265/75/16 with km2s 4.56 gears and the speedo is dead on, before I was running 15 inch wheels with 225/?/15 and speedo was about 7-10mph off. I would trade you but you want 5.29 you going to run this as a dd or trail rig? 5.29 might be a bit much if you are going to do highway driving

4.56's are easier to find. thats what im running with 33's and it is amazing! "compared to 31" tires with 4.10's" i have a 5 speed as well. i think those are about the cheapest option for now. if you really want to run 33's or bigger you should just pay the money to have it regeared

You stated you had 4.88 in already, 4.56 is not as strong when going with bigger tires ie. 33 or 35 inch. If you go 33 with 4.88 you should be fine. 5.29 if 35's. I have 4.56 with 32 but if I want 33's it's going to be 4.88 or 5.29 in case I want to run 35's; problem I heard with 5.29 is rpm will be screaming on the highway driving.

seems like about 3300 but i would have to double check that. I know it is still comfortable and not screaming!
