Does anyone recognize this 4 Runner?

This was my old car, and I was just curious if any of you guys have seen it on the forum. I did a carfax with the VIN and I believe it's in Maryland, but I'm not sure. It was a great car and I miss it every day. Sorry, I uploaded a bunch of pictures, and after these pictures were taken I welded 3 more PIAA's above the ARB bar. Thanks in advance, I hope you all enjoy the pics.

Haven't seen it, but then again if the new owner changed the wheels/tires out - it might "look" like some others. Nice ride! Why did you sell it?

They were 33x12.50" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's. I had a ton of different wheel combo's on the 4 Runner, but the ones in the picture looked the best to me. I put a lot of work into that truck, I sold it because I moved back east and wanted a car and then I put even more work into car. Here is a shot of the S4

That S4 looks like pure SEX...

Do you know where in Maryland? Cuz there is a 4runner in my neighborhood with the exact same color, front bumper, grill, lights, and lift. However, I dont think the rims are the same.

^ are there 3 PIAA's mounted on top of the ARB bumper? I did a carfax a while ago and it showed where the owner got an oil change and a few other things, but I can't get back on my carfax unless I pay more. I want to say somewhere around Millersville, but I'm not positive. I'd love to track down this car because I'd make an offer to buy it back.

Thanks for the complements on the S4, I have done a lot of work to that thing, I'm taking the supercharger off this weekend.

That's crazy because I went from a 3rd gen T4R to an 2004 S4 Avant 6MT (freaking loved that car) but due to the birth of our little girl I decided to do the honorable thing and go back to another runner. I now have a 2005 V8 SR5 T4R that is slowing getting some mods. I had to get the V8 as I just had to much fun with the V8 in the S. Have fun with that S4, man they are fun to drive....

I recognize that 4Runner from the Slee website. I'm guessing you had a lot of the work done there? Great looking rig! Too bad it's not in CO anymore :(

Slee did the suspension and used the pictures I posted on their site. I'm selling the grey s4 because I just bought a 2002 s4 wagon, and now I'm looking a daily driver. I just love 4 Runners. Sorry to get off topic with all the audi stuff, but I love them too. I'm shooting for 800whp by the time I am done building this avant's motor.

I would still love to track down my old 4 Runner.

I love your new ride! Yes, it's not a T4R but I understand the direction your going. I just love the Avant body style and handling of those cars. 800hp is atainable, theres so much you can do with the 2.7T motor you couldn't do with the 4.2L V8. Good luck with your mods and honk as you pass my runner on the highway!

Ok, ok, enough Audi talk in a 4runner forum... :)

800 whp from a 2.7?? How is that mechanically possible?

After this, I promise I won't talk about Audi's anymore. 800whp is possible, but it's going to take a lot of work to get there. I will be boring and stroking it to a 3.0L with 2.8 or 2.9L heads. There are too many other mods to list, but it will be possible. The Tial770 s4's are making 600-700 at the wheels right now. USP has a b5 s4 with a vr6 turbo that's making 826whp. Maybe I won't reach my goal of 800whp, but I am going to invest a lot of time and money in making one fast wagon. My v8 s4 is only making around 350whp with a blower, methanol, and a lot of other mods.

When I blew the first motor in my 4 Runner, I was going to try and swap in the 5.7L tundra engine or a smaller turbo diesel, but that never happened. As of recently I have considered checking out the new 4 Runner's, but I just don't know if that v6 will tow everything that I would want it to.

that truck was at Sky Motors in West Chester, PA about 2+? years ago. at the time i had my 3rd gen and was thinking of trading up, so i stopped in and ripped it around. it was a beast! i didn't have the cash for it at the time, so it was just a joy ride. but a year or so later i bought my v8.

at the time i heard it was previously totaled out or something due to being underwater?

I did have to replace the motor because I got some water in the intake and blew a rod. It was not underwater I just drove too fast through a river, it was not even that deep. One day I was driving through a bumpy dirt parking lot with some relatively big ruts and because of the articulation all of my side impact airbags went off, but I was not going more than 10-15mph. That thing was a beast and it was so much fun to drive.
