Does my Limited come w/ a matching spare wheel?

Does anyone know if the 2013 Limiteds come w/ a matching spare or if it is just some cheap wheel? I haven't had need to use my spare yet so I don't know.

When I was installing my airlift it looked like my normal 20"s from the backside based on design. Does anyone know? I'm asking b/c I am about to sell my wheels on CL and 1 of them is scuffed. I'll switch that one out with the spare if the spare matches.

P.S. The spare on your limited has a yellow hue to it, a strong one, so it can not be used to replace the wheel that is damaged. Unless the seller doesn't mind a non matching set

Yea, the OP could just look under the car and see for himself that there's a black steel rim. He could have read the brochure or website when he bought it and know that Toyota doesn't provide a 5th aluminum wheel with every 4Runner. But you guys could have just told him the answer in a one word reply. "No."

When I picked up my new T4R on Friday I actually looked at the spare rim and tire to see if it was a 17"x7.5" to match the size of the alloy wheels that come on the TE, but I couldn't tell what the rim width was while it was hanging there. Does Toyota put the same rim in both the SR5 and the TE? If I upgrade the tires I want to know if a fatter, taller tire will fit the spare the same way it fits the 4 alloy rims. I guess I'll just have to take it down and physically measure it, because you guys probably aren't going to tell me, right? :smash:

I made my spare yellow limited wheel match the other wheels. It is the exact same wheel , just not finished the same. I sanded the yellow paint off of the areas that are supposed to be aluminum color and polished the areas. Then I painted the wheel black with special wheel paint with the silver masked off. Then I sprayed clear over the whole wheel. I could not stand looking at that yellow wheel under the 4runner. I have used the wheel and tire for normal use for a while just to put some miles on it. You can not tell it apart from the regular wheels. It does not have a tpms sensor though.

The LE is the same wheel but yellow... great choice of color for the Tonka edition! The SR5 and TE have a steel wheel in there (non-yellow). I believe it is the same size rim as the 4 alloy rims, it is just obviously a spare. The tire is the same as stock. Many have mounted bigger and taller tires and you won't have a problem unless you are going BIG! :gossip:

Mine actually matches on my LE. Its not yellow. My wifes does have the yellow wheel though. Strange. Bought both of them new.

I was going to jump in like the rest and say, just get under there. Others did a better job.

Getting the spare down is a pain and you need to try it before you need it. It's not straight forward as you would expect. Have a look at my old post on how to get the #%$%^ thing down.

I couldn't stand the yellow either so I plastidipped it.....

I got it: If you put your yellow spare on and then get three or four other yellow spare owners to swap rims with you they will all match.

That hot yellow spare is just so sexy. I wanted to collect 4 for my truck but decided silver SR5 matches little better.
