Im no expert but just from the other pictures I've seen on this topic, they look toast. I would replace the seals and the bearings on both sides. I am getting ready to replace mine because the passeger side just started leaking and have been looking into this a lot. Look at the write up thread in the resource thread to see what they should look like.

Ok good, I just sprayed some WD40 on it and re-installed.

I thought so, but from some of the questions asked around here you can never be sure. I sure hope mine don't look like that when I take them out.

So, before I go through the trouble of replacing mine...am I correct to assume that as long as they aren't leaking then they don't need to be replaced?

Did they spin in the housing? I'd clean that grease off and make sure your housing tubes are still good....
