Does Rear bumper from a 2002 fit a 97 runner???

Just found a painted greay 2002 rear bumper for my runner and it needs it bad.Was wondering if its gonna fit?

Do you have cladding on the rear wheel well? The painted rear ends may be shorter that your current ones if you don't. I'm not 100% sure on this as I have tried to figure this out for myself, and it LOOKS like the painted side pieces are shorter on the ones with full cladding (Limiteds). I'd love to know for sure.

If you do not have the large flares and the bumper you are buying did you will have holes in the side pieces. Otherwise it should fit. My 97 has a bumper from a 2000 on it. There are some slight differences, but it will work.
