Does sulphur smell go away on its own?

On the previous page, I mentioned that the foul smell came on very strong just as winter was hitting. Now I've noticed that the smell has been gone for a couple of weeks.

The only variables are somewhat warmer weather, Spring (the refineries are working on switching back to Summer gas), and the fact that I went from BP Regular (87) to BP Silver (89) gas for the last two tanks.

I am buying an '03 4Runner with 79000 miles. I was wondering if anyone has had the sulphur smell go away on its own after a lengthy period of time. Thanks.

YEAH, only and I mean ONLY, if you keep the rear passenger and tailgate windows rolled up all of the time. I had the TSB done last year and still have the awful smell. If you want to see if your truck still has the smell or not; drive the Runner until proper operating temperature is reached and then floor it for about 5--6 seconds with your rear passenger and tailgate windows down. I guarantee you will want to call the U.S. Army in order to purchase a gas/chemical apparatus because the exhaust will make the inside of your 4Runner S-T-I-N-K! If you keep doing this over and over your truck's interior will just S-T-A-N-K! Stank is worst than stink.
