I'm more amazed by the comments of all the twits who think this thing is awesome. Cardomain of idiots... Tempted to join just to throw a turd in their punch bowl. :dizzy:
 
You know they say there is no wrong way to do a car...................and then you see something like this. I can appreciate tha hard work that went in to it. Id imagine it's probably in cali with no rain and is probably 2wd. Never been a fan of lowered suv's anyways. Thats my 2 cents
 
I like it. Very sharp ride. Not something I'd aspire to but it lookS a helluva lot better than some neglected stocker.

Would I drive it? Hell yes I would drive it.

Would I put my money and hard work into making that? No.

Sooo not my thing but to each his own.

Really, the only thing that actually bothers me about it is how all the added parts don't even come close to lining up or flowing into each other. Front flairs do not flow into the front bumper, the rear flares do not follow the door lines and do not flow into the side steps etc.

It's not so bad on an offroad rig when things don't line up or flow nicely but beauty, smoothness, and style are not top concerns on an offroader, but for a rig like this they are everything and this doesn't have it.

Well let's be real here.. Not of that was actually probably made for a 4runner. It was profobably made for an Escalade or something. I dont know about you guys, but Ive never seen anything like that specifically for a 4runner (not that ive looked for that specifically but still)
 
This orange 4Runner was local. I've seen posts on craigslist over the years, he tried to sell it for a while. He eventually gave up and parted it out. It was obviously the same vehicle for parts due to the plethora of orange.

You'd be surprised of how much of this type of crap came out of the JDM Hilux Surf accessories catalog in the 90's. Notice the front bumper turn signals - straight off of a 99-02 4Runner. It's more than likely a JDM aftermarket 3rd gen bumper that he adapted.

Well jeez if your going to put that much effort into building it at least leave it in one piece. Its not like that thing will ever trully be a normal 4runner again!
