Does this label mean I can't register my car in CA?

Looking to move to CA in a few weeks for a new job opportunity!

However, I am aware of the strict emissions that CA has on cars, so would I be able to register my 00 4Runner 2WD there? It currently has no codes and runs great. Thanks in advanced.

You'll be fine, that was only for new cars. Used cars (cars that I believe have at least 7500 miles and are already registered in some other state qualify as "used") can be brought into CA as long as it meets the Fed EPA standard and can pass THAT emission test which if you're not getting any CELs, you probably will.

Welcome to CA, but sorry you will be living in SFV. Of course there are some nice parts, but the traffic is everything you see on TV, BAD. <--That is one seriously run on sentence. My English teachers are rolling over in their graves.

Nah, I've lived there before. It's bad, but I'm used to it. Last time I lived in LA was a ULEV Accord. I hated it and bought the 4runner but now I'm dealing with the emissions

Yes the traffic is bad but I have family in Houston and that beltway and feeder roads are insane! Damn freeway in 2 circles. One inside the other. Really?? LOL

Yeah I'd rather deal with LA traffic weirdly. I am not a fan of Houston

I lived in San Clemente in 03-04. LA traffic was bad then, but it was so much worse when I went back for a visit two years ago.

Now there rear-driver, you've got to get kitted up for some desert exploring :)

First time I witnessed those 2 beltways, I was hoping that the traffic planners in MD don't ever get an idea to make another ring around the city- they can't even maintain the one that we already have around Baltimore, lol
