Haha, my wife has always been real big on naming her cars... when we first met she had an 89 Volvo 240 (the thing was practically a tank), and it was known at "The Baron".
We can't seem to find a name for her 2003 Passat, however she did name my 4Runner the "T-wagon". She was watching MTV and they were talking about Mercedes G-Wagons and she didn't know what they were... then she came up with the T-wagon..
I love Old School... one of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile, and a great name for your Toyota!
Haven't really given her a name, but the other day, my girlfriend lost a bet (vacuum, windex windows, run tape roller on seats, wash, wax, and use rainx on windows) and I could have sworn I heard her calling my rig a few choice words!
Olliebear... I thought you wore the pants in the house... Wife-zilla? LOL. I picture her standing above you as she ensure you perform the maintenance on her matrix that you have been pushing off for months!
I'm the one who reminds when maintenance is due....
"Hey honey, it's time to take your car in for service and oil change so I'll take it down and get your 30,000 mile service OK? Right after I do the lawn and clean out the cat boxes and vaccum the hosue......And I'll pay for it too!":whipping2
My wife and I call it "The 4Runner". We have other clever masterpieces like "The Subaru" and "The bike" (Kawasaki). We've gone hog wild the hip, cool names around here...
my 98....runnie, the runner, or the truck. i guess i too am one of those original bastards! now, the girl seems to think that the names are as stupid as my love for the truck. i thank god for the gift of selective hearing! haha
