dog cages?

well I adopted this 1year old golden retriever and im looking for some ideas for keeping him contained in the cargo area of my 2000 sr5 what do you guys use? anything availible for the back window so i can still roll it down and not worry about him trying to escape? thanks guys!

I'd suggest getting two of those universal ones. You can pick them up at PetSmart, etc. only problem is if you put one at the tailgate you have to remove it to let the dog in and out.

Congrats on the pup though and kudos for adopting.

Hey man! I work with a rescue/shelter over here in ATL and this is what I use when I transport the dogs - PortablePET Pet Partition - Dog Car Barrier and Dog Barrier from petco.com (the car in the pic is actually a 4runner so you know it'll work good). I'll normally put down the back seats too and just put that behind the front ones, more space for them to run around. And as for the rear window, you could get another one and use it if you want (it's pretty much open on the bottom so you wouldn't need to take it down to get the dog out).

Congrats on the Golden! We used to have two of them. Great, great dogs! Now we have a Great Dane, and yes he rides in the back of the 4runner
