doing 60K service ?

Can anyone comment on what they paid for 60K service. I am debating trying to do it myself, the quotes I am getting seem ridiculous to me , I think the cheapest so far is $480.

I plan on keeping the car for a long time so it seems worth it to do it , but those prices seem pretty high .
Has anyone done this themselves ? How difficult is it to do ? Roughly what did it cost to do it yourself.

I spent $ 109 changing all the fluids (both diffs, tranny, transfer case, & anti-freeze) air & cabin filter. I also siphoned out the power steering & brake reservoirs and top up with fresh fluid. Will be changing the serpentine drive belt any weekend now with a Goodyear Gatorback one. (approx. $32)

I have not been to the dealer, or anyone else, for any maintenance.

Unfortunately you can't compare prices without itemizing what will be done for that price. Each dealer has their own definition of "60K" (or "whatever-K") service, and some put more in than the book says you need.
If you think the cost is high, get out your maintenance book and specifically ask for pricing on what you need done.
