Doing a tune up

I might be taking my 4runner from Nevada to Montana and back around Christmas time, so I want to get the easy stuff taken care of like spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. This is for a 92 with the 3.0 V6 3VZ-E.

1. What's the best brand/type of spark plugs to use?

2. Plug wires?

3. Cap'n rotor?

4. Any other replaceable items that should be taken care of?

Truck runs great, but it'd make me feel better anyway.

Happy Holidays and Thanks!

Plugs go with Bosch they are good reliable and not too expensive. Wires are hands down MSD or Accel. Cap and Rotor anything will work really use a auto parts store recommendation as it is different depending on what they carry. Go ahead and replace your coil. If you want get an MSD or Accel i have had wonderful luck with their products. If you don't want to fork the cash over for an MSD or Accel just get a generic. While your doing all this check your battery, battery cables, and your clamps. Have autozone test your battery and alternator. They do it for free. Make sure you have a couple extra fuses in the truck, some fix-a-flat, and a mag light and you should be good.

NGK plugs and any name brand cap/rotor/wire. Stay away from the 'store brands' if your're looking for someting really good.
