I did some regular maintenance today and also installed K&N's 63 Series Air Charger. Here's what I did:
The K&N install went pretty smoothly, even though I didn't have much experience. The pictures in the instructions were slightly different from what was under the hood. Has the stock intake tube been redesigned? Anyways... the new intake tube was also a bit of a tight fit - there barely seemed to be enough room between the throttle body and the radiator fluid tank (think that's what it is - the pink one). Anyways... it sounds awesome when I hit the gas.
Here are some pics...
- Gave it 6 qts of Valvoline SynTech
- Gave it 1 bottle of LucasOil Synthetic Oil Stabilizer
- Used some CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner
- Also used some CRC Throttle Body Cleaner
- Installed the K&N
