Glad I live in Texas... he should've just hit that small box truck and rode it out, instead he over corrected and is most likely dead. That thing exploded

If you pay close attention, you will see that person was in a hurry. The car in front changed lanes to let the truck pass....the left tire of the truck seems to have brushed up against thicker slush and caused the truck to lose control....

They set it off when they jerked the wheel out of the slush.

That looked horrible. Hope they lived...

I've never seen anything like that--it was like he was driving a plastic model kit instead of a steel-based vehicle. It certainly proves the adage about slowing down--if you want to go fast in those conditions, you can't let your attention lapse for a second. The people who saw that first-hand will probably have nightmares!

No wonder I am afraid of roads with no median like that. Ouch. I doubt the driver lived. If there was a passenger, I know they didn't. I knew a guy who hit a tree on his passenger side of his infiniti g35 doing approx 50. He didn't make it. Died on impact. The human body just can't tolerate those crazy g forces without protection. I'm sure the rig driver sustained a few injuries too.

After dead idjit bumped the box truck, looks like he just gave up and let her roll... right on in front of the semi. He had time to turn the wheel again before rolling into oncoming traffic and the path of the semi. At least he didn't cause anyone else to die, besides possibly his passenger(s).

Far to many idiots on the roads.

I'd rather be :fishing:

I was driving home from Cali 10 years ago and was going thru Park City, Utah one morning before 6am,

It was cold but I didnt realize it had rained in SLC the night before so the roads looked mostly dry, but I went over an icy bridge and overcorrected.

I had started in the left hand lane, i went toward the median, and overcorrected back to the inside, it put me in a spin. I spun, faced traffic and then spun back. I was almost out of the clear when a small pickup tried to go around me instead of stopping like everyone else. Rear ended me going about 40mph... put my trunk into my backseat.

I learned that day that things can happen so quick, theres no way you can stop it. you can only minimize the impact by going slow... I dont care if you are in 2wd or 4wd, all cars use 4wheels to stop and it doesn't help on ice and slush...

Makes me sick everytime some dumb you know what in an SUV flies by me in my 4runner on a road that I know is unsafe. On my way back to Colorado from wheeling with J money, Brian2sun, COB and everyone else... I was driving thru Utah and I hit a blizzard and some stupid car flew by me. 1/2 mile down the road that car was stuck in the snow off to shoulder. Luckily they didn't run into anything or anyone...

Ya'know, I sense some people are somewhat "entertained" by this video. It really quite sad, you just witnessed the death of a fellow human being, someones child, family member and perhaps friend. Please be sensitive to those lives that have been impacted by this tragic event. Thanks, and may God bless their soul.
