Door Lock questions

Well I am a bit upset. I trolled the website looking for info on the door locks. Found the most common problem was the entire fuse box relay thing under the drivers side panel.

I got a working one out of a pull yard.

But when all my interior lights werent working and I finally got off my ass I checked fuses and I didnt even have the DOME fuse in there. So I replaced it and all lights work.

Weird part is now my doors lock and unlock but heres the problem. They lock but when I go to unlock the bounce but dont unlock. So im not quite sure what the problem is. Any help would be perfect. I have been trolling this website for weeks looking for info and cant find the answer to this problem.

Also as a final part I was wondering because i saw on youtube you can program a key fob to the truck for 20-25 bucks. I would LOVE this. However wanted to know if that was for all years and models. I have a 97 sr5

Don't know about the lock bounce, but do you have a small black box under your drivers seat? Anything by your e-brake that says "Security"? I think all of the security systems were port or dealer installed, and I know not all rigs got them. I believe without the security system, there is nothing to program a FOB to. Your system would be the RS3000 I believe. The '99+ got the VIP3000 and 3200.

I think there's a little black relay in the engine bay as well that's needed. My 98 does not have one, so I gave up that thought real quick.

I don't know what's going on with your locks currently, but you can install an aftermarket keyless entry/alarm system on any car. You can get one on Amazon for less than $50.
