Door molding compatability between years?

I need a new right front door molding due to a nasty little rock. I have an 07 sport. Can I use the molding off an 03 or 05 SR5?

Just to worn you that molding alone costs about $420 (new). Your best bet would be to go to a paint and body and have them try and find you a used one from dealer that sells aftermarket parts.

My stealership quoted me $960. It's retorted for a piece of plastic that probably cost all of $2 to manufacture.

I am looking at parts from salvage yards, but only see 03s 04s and 05s. I'm wondering if they'll work.

I just talked my guy a body shop and he said that they all should work since they are the same body style (4th Gen). Also, I would look at a paint and body, the "stealership" is way too high he said.

I could be wrong, but I think the 2006-09 cladding are thicker/wider than the 2003-05 to match the wider fender flares.

Isn't the price of your molding is too much? I thought the price range of that part is around $120. Correct me if I am wrong coz I haven't tried replacing mine.

That's probably correct. I went and got pricing for my drivers side and it was around $1200 -4 pieces.
