Door Pannel Removal - 2003 4Runner

I have a 2003 4Runner Sport (4.7 liter V8) that won't lock on the driver's side (wife slamming the door)! Anyone know how to take off the door pannel? I started and got about 25% complete then realized that there was nothing else (visable) to disconnect.
