the tailgate and the passenger side front door aren't working. when i try to open the tailgate, i hear the motor run, but it wont release. i've opened up the access hole and it wont release even when i pull the manual release lever inside. is it possible to remove the plastic door panel when i cant open the tailgate? i'm not sure whats behind the plastic. is that gonna give me more access or will i still just be able to peak thru the access hole?

as far as the front passenger door, the power lock stopped working a week or so ago, but i was able to unlock manually. it wasn't a problem doing that, but it stopped unlocking altogether yesterday. it feels like something is binding up inside. is it possible to get that door panel off with the door closed?

You can get the back plastic lift gate panel with the door closed. I had to do it once to reset the computer and it wasn't tough. Just unscrew the pull down strap and the panel pops off. I would pull the panel and reset the computer and see if that fixes your problem.

On the passenger door, take a look at my thread here. Hopefully, the pulling hard on the lock cable will fix your problem. It didn't in my case and it was a nightmare to fix.
